See, here's the thing. The Libations Bearers isn't really a tragedy... well, no, I don't want to say that. The Eumenides isn't a tragedy, not at all, but you can make the argument that since Orestes is chased away from his homeland by horrible, cruel goddesses at the end that the Libations Bearers qualifies. But actually, this is all an aside. The Libation Bearers is great because of its focus on everybody's favorite pair of libation bearers, Orestes and Electra. The centerpiece of the play isn't the action, it's their sheer outpouring of violent, disturbed emotion.
